The Attic's Tribute to Bob Clark: Tuesday, December 4th!

The Attic Film Society is group of perversely dedicated movie freaks obsessed with the cinema of the 60's, 70's, and 80's drive-in and Times Square theaters. We hold double feature screenings the first and third Tuesday of every month featuring a wide and random variety of genres from the late 20th century celluloid underground, including tons of the weirdest trailers and short subjects from the roadshow to the video store. We invite you to join us at the Heorot Pub and Draught House's third floor game room and lounge in downtown Muncie, have a beer, a slice of pizza, and take in some of the finest wastes of guitar picks that the world of exploitation flicks has to offer.
All shows start at 8 p.m. and are absolutely free!!!
(The Attic is a private movie club, not a public exhibition. All patrons 21 years and older are invited to join. No special requirements other than event attendance are necessary for membership. All videos and images are the intellectual property of their respective copyright owners.)
WARNING! The Attic’s Tribute to Bob Clark contains graphic depictions of one or more of the following elements: Nudity and sexuality, substance abuse, explicit language, violence and gore, torture and rape, cannibalism and necrophilia, incest and infanticide, themes regarding the subjects of race, nationality, gender, sexual preference and identity, and general sleaze and mayhem. Can you believe that this guy made A CHRISTMAS STORY, too?

BREAKING POINT (1976) 8 p.m.
Vincent Karbone is a leading construction magnate in Philadelphia and a suspected leader of one of the city's most notorious criminal gangs. Several of his thugs are on trial, and the key witness is Michael, a mild-mannered judo instructor with a wife and kids. Karbone will stop at nothing to keep the muscles of his organization out of prison, including striking at Michael's family to keep him from testifying.
CHILDREN SHOULDN'T PLAY WITH DEAD THINGS (1972) 10 p.m.
An obnoxious director, Alan, threatens his group of actors with unemployment unless they accompany him to a deserted island to perform some satanic rituals. After two thirds of the film, by now the cast have exhumed a corpse and attempted talking each other to death, incidents reach a peak as one of the women has a sudden break down (cue some overacting). The actors decide they've had enough and demand to leave the island immediately. It's too late to escape though, at this point you find yourself wondering if the film even feature the zombies promised in the title. The flesh hungry living dead close in on them and we're treated to the old boarding up the windows and doors routine and defending themselves from the growing horde of creatures outside.
